These photographs were taken on a 2014 trip to Spain to revisit some of the places we had first seen more than 35 years earlier, and to explore an area new to us -- the "pueblos blancos" of Andalusia. These white hill towns (including Arcos de la Frontera, Montejaque, Grazalema, and Zahara de la Sierra) are small mountainside villages where tradition prevails and time moves slowly. Our Andalusian visit is captured in "Part 1".
In "Part 2" we re-visit Madrid and some of its environs -- Toledo, the monastery of El Escorial, Segovia, and the Royal Palace of San Idelfonso at La Granja.
These images are less a travelogue than a they are a study in Spanish architecture and landscape.
The music is by the Isaac Albéniz (1860–1909) whose works form the core of the classical spanish guitar repertoire. The music selections are "Asturias-Leyendra" (Part 1) and "Mallorca" (Part 2).

Stunning! You are one great fotographer, Jerry!!! Love the music, too. Seems like I'd like one foto, and then the next one would be better. You have the EYE.
