These photos, part of a larger collection, were taken in 2006 on a trip to northen India. They show the varied "faces" of that small portion of the continent. Areas traveled were Delhi, several parts of Rajasthan, southeast to areas near Jhansi, and to the holy city of Varanasi. Included is a stopover at the annual "Naguar Cattle Fair" (Northern Rajasthan) where many remote tribes come to trade livestock and the latest gossip.

Gerry the first picture in your India collection is beautiful. Never before have I seen so many brillent colors in one shot. I also really like the picture of the little boy all dressed up in his sweater and tie and his white, white shoes. I wonder if he would get in trouble if they got dirty?
